EDMONTON CONSTRUCTION LEADER M.A.P. GROUP OF COMPANIES SELECTS LOCAL COMPANY AS NEW SOFTWARE VENDOR

Reflex Construction ERP beginning implementation this summer

Edmonton, AB – Edmonton-based construction organization M.A.P. Group of Companies has officially closed their ERP vendor selection process by signing a contract with local software partner Reflex Enterprise Solutions Group. M.A.P. has begun implementing the fully integrated Reflex ERP solution.

Founded in 1983 by Nick Matera, the M.A.P. Group of Companies is comprised of a number of construction-based organizations, including the three primaries: M.A.P. Water & Sewer Services Ltd., M.A.P. Earthworks Ltd., and Williamson Equipment. As one of the larger civil construction companies in Canada, M.A.P. needed to replace their Sage accounting software with a more robust, construction-focused solution that supports both front and back office functions. Heavy emphasis was placed on the need for flexibility, scalability, cutting-edge technology, workflow process management, and extensive functionality with limited customization required.

In October 2016, M.A.P. went to private tender with a Request for Proposal (RFP). In June 2017, they signed with local Edmonton software developer and IT partner Reflex Enterprise Solutions Group for the provision and implementation of the Reflex Construction ERP.

“After inviting 11 leading ERP companies to the formal RFP process, we’re very excited to be working with Reflex,” says Tony Matera, President at M.A.P. “The Reflex solution met a large majority of our needs out of the box, and Reflex will work with us to enhance any additional requirements directly into their base solution.”

Reflex Construction is part of a modern ERP system that has been recently rebuilt on the latest technology and that offers several comprehensive, industry-specific solutions. With Reflex, not only can M.A.P. fully manage accounting and all financial functions, the company will also have access to modules for full project management, estimating, budgeting, customer and contract management, field services, analytics and reporting, web portals, and more. As a next generation solution, Reflex also offers web-based self-service portals for mobile access and comprehensive document management functionality.

“We’re excited to be working with M.A.P. as a local community member and as a construction industry leader,” says Ken Ingram, Director of Sales and Marketing at Reflex. “We’re confident that our Reflex Construction ERP will help M.A.P. to automate processes and manage data like never before. It’s important to us that we work with other Edmonton companies and that members of our community are benefitting from the use of our software.”
